Agiofaraggo - Martsalo

Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful beaches of southern Crete is that of Agiofarangos.

Its name is due to the monks who lived an ascetic life inside the gorge. The beach looks like something out of a fairy tale, since its crystal clear and calm waters soothe the soul of every visitor. A natural rock bridge formed in the water completes the magical canvas. Right next to it is Martsalo, a beach characterized by its permanently calm waters and the tamarisk trees that naturally adorn the coast.
